There's no "obvious" way of getting to it from Talk (unless you happen to scroll half way down the list of topics to find it).

I'm talking about the fact that people do those types of headings in lots of different topics - not just in For Sale.

What I'm talking about is people who sell a few bits and pieces now and again just to make a few extra £'s to treat their DC to something. When it was in Active Convos some people would "window shop" and therefore more chance of stuff selling.

It's now beautifully cut off from the rest of talk, so any hopes of getting "For Salers" to come and join the rest of talk are now pretty slim IMO so we still have the "us and them"

PLUS if you click on active convos (as I do) how are you supposed to get to the "For Sale" section??? Unless you're a regular seller you're not going to know where to find it (ie "Topic List", scroll down to find it" IMO.

I guess I'm just bitter because I know I've now got no chance of off loading a few bits and pieces of baby stuff now.

sorry thought it was about for Sale - because you're saying it looks nice without it all of the asterisky percentagy thread titles.......which was a big complaint of those that didn't like the For Sale in active convos.

And if it's just about style - I think it looks messy anyhow - as much as I love MN and posting on it I think active convos looks messy, all bunched together and not very easy to read

really - how odd - I had (briefly) seen that but thought it was just "business" type classified - would never have thought of clicking on it to find MN'ers "for sale" stuff LOL.

I'd be more likely to click on "shopping" - which of course is company stuff.
