Searching by username

Is this still possible? When I search for a username on the app or desktop site it keeps coming up with 0 results.

Do you use advanced search and put in date limits.
I found two people, one was me. another name from 2 years ago. Lol Did I say thaaat?

Advanced Search does it. You don't need to put the dates in.

How do you do an advanced search on the app? I have the same problem where I put a username (even my own) or a phrase into the search box at the top and it doesn't bring back any results.

Can we check what app you're using?

I'm using ios and can't do it on the app

Morning, everyone. We're afraid advanced search isn't available in the app. The url you need is this one https://www.mumsnet.com/search/advanced and it only works on the main site, but it is pretty good so hopefully worth switching over briefly to the main site for.

But I'm not on the app...and your link doesn't help as its still giving the same problem. And even if it did work I have no idea on how to find that link in future as surely the advance search should work off the links thats next to im watching, I'm on, and last hour links?

Hello, I have cleared cache on this website, then device cache, optimized device, updated chrome and rebooted device. Then I used your link above and it still doesn't work 😟 Thought I would try OPs name for a change but still no. Sorry to be a pain!

So you used to be able to search by username in the app (have done before and only ever used the app, never used the desktop version) is this function no longer available? Tried searching for a username tonight and came up with 0 results.

Yes you definitely used to be able to on the app which is why I was surprised you can't anymore.

I still haven't had a reply, and I'm not even using the app.
