Expired page notification

Why do I keep getting this come up when I exit from a thread? It happens when I've only been logged on for about five minutes, and skimmed through a thread.

It used to only happen if I'd logged on and then not logged out and left it for hours (because I've nodded off).

Please can you let us know if your browser is up to date, and also how many posts you're viewing per page?

Hi, I'm viewing 100 posts per page, and think it's up to date.

It only happens on Active, I suppose because that doesn't automatically refresh like the others.

I've just noticed Active isn't really updating. The number of posts are staying same even though I know there's more as I've read them.

Would you be able to try clearing your cache to see if that fixes it?

However, have noticed that Active is now auto refreshing which I find really annoying as you think you can look at the next thread of interest but it disappears.

Oh well, less time on mumsnet if it gets too annoying to use.

Have cleared cache and no difference.

Me too, just started this morning. Clearing cache and restarting phone didn't help.

Is it the session expired popup that you're seeing?

I'm getting this since last night. Didn't post as no one else did so thought it was my phone. It's still happening. I've everything up to date, cache cleared etc. When I clear my cache it is fine for 10 - 15 mins then starts again. It happens when I click a post to read and then click the back button.

Can we also check how many posts per page you're viewing?

I'm getting the same pop-up as 60smusic. Viewing 100 posts on the Active page.

I'm also getting this on my phone and my laptop. 100 threads per page.

Ok I thought it had sorted but alas no, notification still popping up in Active.

I'm getting the "expired page" notification also, only on Active. Chrome on a laptop.

I've literally just had the expired page pop up too. Last night every time I came out of a thread the active board had reverted back to several hours previously, including showing threads I had hidden.

Yes, the active board isn't updating.

Thanks, everyone. We're looking into this now. Are you clicking back on your browser when this happens? And are you going back to Active or another page? (The more information we have as to what you're doing when you see the notification the faster we should be able to sort it out).

I click from active convos to read a thread, then use my phone's back button to go back to active convos, and instead get taken to an hours old page with a "page expired" pop up

Showing all posts at once but I don't get how that would make a difference!

I dont use the back button. I go onto active, go into a thread then click active again.

Clicking back on browser to return to the Active threads list.

If it helps, I'm not getting the pop-up anymore, but the active page is still reverting to an hours-old version every time I go back to it. If I refresh it does go to the current version. Then I click on a thread, then hit back to go to active, and it's the old version again!

I know its the weekend so any fixes will take time. However the top thread on my screenshot has been hidden by me 8 times now. Twice were yesterday. I've even closed the browser down a couple of times today in the hope it will stay hidden. Dont know if this helps.
