I'm not sure if there's anything we can do about this but if you tell me where you are seeing this ad (is it ^ or >? is it on active convos or just in certain topics?) then we can certainly take a closer look.

It is > on Active Convos, then it disappears again and comes back at the ^ of active convos. I kept waiting for the horrid forky tongue to flick out, but thankfully it didn't!
