How do I find an old thread I started

If I click on ‘threads I started’ it only goes back a few months where before it went back years.

Is it worth looking through 'Threads I'm on'? Or you could run an advanced search on your username if you're not using the app (which doesn't have advanced search).

Tried that and they only go back so far too. I’d do an advanced search but I can’t remember the exact wording I used nor the username I was using at the time.

Might be worth trying a Google search? Failing that, I'm sure MN could run a query for you ...

Hi OP

Can we check what device and browser you're using?

VoluptuaGoodshag · 10/03/2023 15:31

Hi, it’s ok I eventually found it by searching under all my user names. Took a while but I got there thanks

Glad you found it @VoluptuaGoodshag - Threads I Started only goes back a year or so. @ScottBakula we're happy to take a look. Could you report your post with a bit more info about the thread and we'll check.

ScottBakula · 08/04/2023 20:47

Thanks @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet I have just reported my post.

ClaraMumsnet · 08/04/2023 20:55

Found them @ScottBakula and have replied to your email.

Thank you @ClaraMumsnet , they were the ones I wanted.
The brought back lots of memories.

Is there a way we can find old threads ourselves?
