This reply is a bit buried on this thread, so thought I'd post here for others to see - Justine's response, which I think is a good outcome (though it feels a bit sad to me that it's take almost a month of threads on Site Stuff to get here).

Too little too late in my opinion.

That thread referenced above is, sadly, brilliant and a must read. People who are far more articulate than myself so succinctly pointed out the many, many piss poor decisions made by MNHQ over this whole debacle. And I can't believe they are SO surprised by the strength of feeling that they finally agreed to undo some really awful decisions.

Thank you for posting it here. The response really should have had its own specific thread, rather than a reply to the one of many threads on the subject.

Agree that the reply should have been given its own thread instead of buried. I for one agree with the majority of what Justine said. I do, however, still believe Mumsnet HQ need to show some accountability for the abuse they opened the genuine poster in those boards up to who use/d them for advice and support and found themselves made to feel wrong and shameful.
