being able to post pics on threads?

Ones that show ua all in our best light of course!

this would be nice, but it could get very busy. Scrolling through the thread would be a nightmare.
Or even one thread were pictures could be posted!

could they just have a notice board type thingie though of our mugs on instead?

on another site i have used the pic comes up like a thumnail (or a bit bigger) so the thread loads quickly, then you click on it to see full size (but obviously have a system that resizes them or have a maximum size) Just thought it would be easier than messing around with photo albums/links etc

Not sure I'd be fussed about having pictures on threads but it would be nice if there was somewhere on MN (in the profile?) to keep one or two if you wanted and change them whenever you liked.

I still like the idea of being able to click on a poster's name and get their profile, did that one die a complete death or is it still under consideration? It would help the elderly posters like me who can't hold a thought in their heads for very long and constantly forget who's who.

yeah thats a really good idea as well. THe other site i got the idea from has a 'control panel' which would equate to 'my MN' where you can see the last 10 threads you posted on, 'buddies' that you can automatically PM/CAT and your gallery where you can store pics that other users can look at.
It's all optional of course, you dont have to use it if you dont want people to find you!!!!

Hi there, this is in the pipeline - the idea is that people who wanted could set up a "public profile" that people would see when they click your nickname in a thread. You'd be able to include a few pictures in that if you wanted to.
