Just a hopeful nudge.

Is the android app ever going to get some attention? It lacks a lot of features that the IOS app / browser version has (like hiding topics or showing all of OPs posts) and does some odd things at times like changing emojis.

It is very over due an update.

I do sometimes think it might just be me that uses it but I will continue to hold out hope.

Well it's not that neglected, they've managed to make ads visible recently. Whereas before it was just the mumsnet logo, now I get fucking moving ads.

So they can work on it when it benefits them 🤔

Yeah the android app is a bit crap, but it's so fast! Way faster than browsing the mobile site, that's why I also use it for browsing. I sometimes change to the mobile site to post.

I still can't report a post using the android app. Reported months ago and followed instructions from MN but doesn't work yet.

I also get thrown off long posts sometimes. Say there's 600 odd replies, I'll read to around 320 and then the app restarts. Try to go back to where I was and get thrown off the app again.

Android app is shit. They don't care. I've been moaning for over a year
