Go to My Mumsnet, change the details, then right at the very bottom of the page make very sure to click on the 'save changes' box.

Thanks BoysAreLikeDogs. I have tried that but all the boxes are like this "$member.Nickname" Is that right?? I overtype them and save it, but it's still not doing it??

Are you in Registration Details? Sorry if that sounds patronising, someone had to talk me through the first time I namechanged!

Otherwise wait for Tech to help

boomie · 08/02/2008 14:18

Hi LOL, yes I am in Registration details. I will patiently await Tech.

Thanks

Hi Boomie
Sorry you're having problems.
Go to your member log in
Overwrite your chat nickname with whatever you want to change to.
Click Save Changes at the bottom left
And then come back to Talk and use your new nickname.
If you're still getting weird error messages, drop Tech an email and see what he can do (tech at mumsnet dot com)

HTH
