Can we have a "HIDE" button next to thread title, in active convos, so I don't actually need to CLICK on the buggers?

I agree - didn't we have this for a very short while when layout first changed? Or am I imagining things?!

There is one at the end of the line in active convos - in the view I use anyway.

but that doesn't allow you to hide an individual thread that doesn't come under a topic you may have chosen to hide does it? You have to actually click on the thread itself to hide it. Or am I being slow?

You can select in the customise talkboard bit to have the 'hide' there or not. If it is there you can click it without having to open the thread first
