Name changes

Are there any plans to make a name change stick on a thread once a particular name has been used, or the thread created with that name?

Its annoying having to remember to change the name on every post if its not in the usual name and inevitably gets missed and any attempt to keep names separate is useless.

Just want to say that I fully endorse this brilliant idea.

i change names often - depending on the topic, or how much personal info I am sharing - and the fact that a thread cannot remember which name you last posted under has often stopped me from engaging. Too much hassle to look back
Many OPs have name change fails too

Please MNHQ do look at this - maybe ask how popular it would be? Do users want it? I suspect lots more of us do, thank you

When I click on different threads made under different names, my name is different in the 'your username' box.

I can change it though
