How many people don't use page view

So it's looking like my much beloved MN feature of 1000 posts is broken and I was wondering if this is something a few old timers use or if it's still quite popular. I'm worried it will be deprecated 😭
How many users still have access to this function and use it?
MN can you reassure me that you're not going to pension off my whole thread view 🙏🙏🙏

I'm an old timer who still uses it, but it doesn't work on very long threads now. It won't load properly and I can't post on them. It's annoying when you're a regular poster on a long thread but I live with it.

I'm very reluctant to change to pages in case I can't change back to my 1000 posts view again.

Also they blame the long threads but I get Aww, snap! on very short threads or even the Active threads page.

I still use it but have found this past week or 2 that I regularly get the oh snap message.

I can't find it anymore, I thought they got rid of it in the last round of tweaks.

Same. But changing back and losing the option would annoy me hugely.

Hi there @murderbythebook. Don't worry, we've no plans at all to pension off the whole thread view. Switching to 25 or 50 posts per page if you're finding a thread glitchy will help, but the whole thread view isn't going anywhere.

I have had to switch to 100 posts per page which is not glitchy like view all on long threads.

I still use MN mobile site, classic. #oldskool

The View All crashes after about 350 replies on mobile and 500 on pc so very reluctantly I am now on view 50 on something primitive like that.

Have MN rolled out a change in the last 48 hours? I use view all on 1 page which has been utterly crap, slow, crashing due to memory errors, unable to post etc for the last 3 months.

Since yesterday it's running buttery smooth and loading quickly, even on threads with more than 500 posts. Fingers crossed its fixed.
