Blocking

Apologies if this has been addressed before, I'm using the app and it doesn't always throw out results when I search for things.

Why doesn't Mumsnet have a blocking function for when people inevitably don't want to see posts from folks they dislike? Is there a reason this hasn't been implemented?

I just scroll past, but it might be useful for people who really don't want to see things from specific members.

It's not a feature we currently have - though we do have blocking available from private messages!

With our namechange feature, and the amount of posts we receive daily, we just don't feel that 'blocking' would be achievable on the boards. If you have any concerns about a poster, you can report them to us. But we'd always advise not engaging with someone that you don't with to enter a back and forth with.
