Is there any way we can have a 'save my username and password' box to tick on the log-in? I'd love it if Mumsnet remembered me! But I also realise it's not appropriate for everyone so it'd be nice if there was the option

Doesn't Internet Explorer offer you this? Mine autofills in stuff if I type a few letters in.

Trouble is other people could post in your name and much as you might trust your family I am sure there are others who couldn't. Look what happened to Kayleigh recently, and that was someone who simply guessed her password. I think there would be too many cases of posts not coming from where they appear to.

Tools, Options, "content" "Personal Information" Click on Autocomplete.

I don't want autocomplete on all the time - I just want the option to tick a box on the log-in page so that it holds my details there. If you don't tick the box, it doesn't save your details - simple as that! So it would mean people who didn't want their details saved wouldn't have to have them - same as now. But I get logged out a lot which is annoying!

That sounds ideal- like My eBay where you have the option of keeping yourself logged in or not.

Oh, yes, I want this as well. The Guardian site remembers you.
