Site constantly re-loading and slow to type

I've been having real problems with the site recently. For weeks threads have kept coming up with a button saying they needed to be reloaded, which has been a pain. Since yesterday though the site is virtually unusable, it takes ages to load any thread, if I try to type it's like there's a massive delay on any typing - and then the thread reloads part-way through and I lose everything anyway.

I'm not using the app and I've tried it on Safari on my phone and iPad and Chrome and Lion on my laptop. It's driving me bonkers.

Please can we ask how many posts you're viewing per page?

I'm having the same issue. It seems more common on very active threads, or very full ones.
I view all posts on one page.

There's a long thread in site stuff called "for the love of god.." or something similar discussing the same issues. Basically mumsnet aren't that bothered about fixing it and want everyone to view 25 posts per page, even though posters have said that's not working for them either

I searched for a thread on this but somehow missed the one that's going, sorry. @LilyMumsnet I was viewing all posts to page but have changed to 25 after reading the other thread and it seems better so far. However. this is a pain, I don't like having only 25 posts per page, it's really tedious.

How long is MNHQ going to keep suggesting we all change to 25 pages?

That only helps some people and I really don't want to have to do it, due to the sheer amount of threads being deleted for no good reason. It's frustrating to click on the next page only to find it's been deleted.

Oh sorry OP, I didn't mean you shouldn't have started a new thread, just mentioned it so you could see what mnhq were saying previously

That's the reason I view all, it was so annoying getting part way through them it being deleted when you move a page

I'll go to 25 posts per page if MNHQ stop deleting threads for no good reason!
