Video ads playing with sound

The ads are talking to me. It only happens from time to time (maybe once a day) but it's extremely annoying, especially if I'm out somewhere or on a bus, it blasts out to everyone around me.

How can this be turned off?

Please could you let us know what device and browser you're using to access the site, and can we have a screenshot of the advert that is causing this?

It's happened to me too, accessing MN via Chrome on Google Pixel. Will screenshot next time it happens.

I'm using Chrome on an Android phone.

I'll try to screenshot it if I can, though if it happens in public I'm more concerned with trying to switch it off!

Happening to me too. V annoying. Nb I know there's another thread for this but the big patagraph thing is aggectjng me as i thdpe this reply! Sorr it out, MN, this site is becoming impossible to use.

We're still investigating this but we haven't managed to replicate yet.
We're aware of the paragraph issue and a workaround in the meantime is using a different browser. We know this isn't ideal but just until we get it sorted.

To clarify - "Hi, you're pregnant" was what the advert said out loud when I scrolled past it.

This is still happening for me, even with my phone on silent.
