Quoting posts on the App

Why is it not possible to quote a post that contains a quoted post on the MN App on iPhones?

I can quote a single post but if that post has already got a quote in it, in the app, I'm unable to quote it. However it is completely possible to quote this same post if I do it on my desktop version (but I don't want to use the browser version on my phone when there is the MN App available).

Surely the app should do what the desktop version does?

We're sorry but we haven't yet got this functionality on the app. We'll pass your feedback on.

I've been asking them to do it since the feature became available. They don't care about app users.

Thanks @LilyMumsnet . Do you mind me asking why people would bother having the app on their mobile if it doesn't have the functionality that you can get when you're not in the app?

Does it give MN Admins some sort of data that isn't available when people are accessing the site via a browser?

I use the app because I don't work at a computer, my phone is my main form of al communication.

The mobile version of the website on the mobile doesn't work as well and it's harder to read.

It's frustrating that app users haven't been considered in the redesign of the site nor have they been listened to when they're brought up issues.

Do we have a timeframe for when these features will become available?

Because it isn't just an issue of not being able to quote a quoted post. You also can't read previous quotes in a quoted post either.
