Posted threads disappear from "im watching" and go to "im on"

I am watching threads, then realise I have something to contribute and post on them, but then the threads vanish from the 'Im watching' and appear only in 'im on'

This means I have to check on two places and might miss stuff.

If we post on a thread we are watching can it STAY in watched?

This way we can comment on things we aren't watching but also watch things we comment on.

Or maybe I'm thinking I'm watching and I'm not...
