The site is so glitchy

Hi,

Im having a few problems with the site. Long gaps between sentences and paragraphs. Clicking on a thread but it opening the one underneath it constantLy. Threads freezing and then taking AGES to load the previous page.

Its really annoying. I'm using Samsung Internet on a galaxy S20.

Is there anything I can do?

I have the same issue.

Same here. I keep telling myself to do something else instead as it's so annoying! Also android.

Same issue, chrome with android. Been like this for a few days.

Oh well at least it's not me but it's so irritating and I stop replying to threads mid reply because I can't bloody type anything that makes sense.

We're really sorry you're having these problems with the site. This is a known issue that seems to be happening on various Samsung devices. There's a thread about it here - Big paragraphs appearing when I try to reply to threads - and we'll be updating that one once we have some news.

In the meantime, here are a couple of suggestions which might help:

• If you've not yet tried using different browsers, that might be worth a go. It's looking like this is mostly (but not exclusively) happening on Samsung browsers so trying Chrome or Safari etc make a difference.
• If you're not using the app, it's worth trying that rather than the mobile site or desktop site.

I'm having a very frustrating time with MN at the moment. My phone's a Samsung but I'm using Chrome. Posts won't post, they just sit there buffering for ages. I tried the app but it won't let me post. It just kept saying I wasn't logged in even though I clearly was as it was showing my username. I logged out & in several times in case there was an error and eventually had no choice but to uninstall.

I'm trying this on my tablet to see if that works better.

It's all very slow and glitchy.
