Odd symbols

Hi mnhq , a couple of times I have got the attached odd symbols when I am either posting or opening a thread .
I use Google on android Samsung
On this particular occasion it was while a was replying to a thread about premiere Inn refunds

They're just shortcut icons. That's how the site shows on my phone when a page hasn't loaded properly; just refresh it.

Hello @SantaBakula is this happening frequently? Are you using Chrome or the Samsung browser?

Hi @YetAnotherBeckyMumsnet no not often , perhaps 3 or 4 times a week . On a Samsung phone but chrome browser.
I tried restarting my phone but it popped back up later that day.

It's usually seems to happen if I've been Mn'ing put my phone down and then picked it back up and reactivated the screen so it opens automatically on MN again

We think this may be an issue with your cache.
Are you able to clear this and see if it resolves the issue?

Hi @LilyMumsnet , I will hive that a go and see of it helps though it may be a little hard to tell as they apper so sporadically.
I haven't seen any more since starting this thread .
