So, so sick of bumped zombie threads

The Relationships board is FULL of old threads which have new comments on them because of the 'similar threads' feature. It is getting really tiresome - I feel like I have to be on the alert all the time when opening a 'new' thread to check the date of the posts.

People are responding to an OP who has long since forgotten or finished with the thread.

WHY is this a thing? Who is meant to be benefiting? Has anyone actually said that they LIKE this feature?

Please, please stop it. It cannot be generating revenue or anything, so why is it still being used? Can we have an ETA on when MNHQ will give it the chop?

Can I second annoyance at this please! It's just so tedious. Feels like you're trying to add filler because the site isnt generating enough content, so you get us to click through old threads and can sell ad space there as well as what's in "active."
