Mumsnet not working on iPhone

I've had several issues for the last few days:

  • Trending is blank
  • The talk homepage is blank
  • When logged in I can't post - where my user name would normally be shown it says (create a username) - I've tried logging in and out, and tried unsuccessfully to change my username

Help please...

Fully enough I've noticed similar issues today and also that I can't seem to upload photos from my camera feed/album. I have to go through my settings, select the photos, then go back, start a new reply and upload them then. Very odd.

That sounds very irritating - sorry to hear that's happening.

Any chance you're logged in still on a different device? Would you let us know what device/browser you're using and whether you're accessing MN via the app or the website...

Once we have the info we'll do our best to get this sorted for you both.

I'm logged in on my laptop and phone - as I always am, although the laptop has been logging me out for the last few days which it doesn't normally do.

I've also noticed that on my phone I can't 'watch' a post although book-marking seems to be working ok.

On my phone I'm accessing via safari - version iOS 16.11
Laptop is safari 15.6.1

We should mention that there shouldn't be an issue with users being logged in to multiple devices - we're just trying to figure out what's happening as we've been unable to recreate it.

You could also try clearing your cache. If you need help with this do let us know.

I’ve cleared browsing history and website history and it’s all working again - thanks for the suggestion.

I did try logging out of laptop and that didn’t make a difference.
