Not all zombies are bad

I'm quite enjoying the current crop of zombies.

It's a bit like flicking through an old photo album - "Oh, wasn't ds cute?" Also interesting to see things I said 10-15y ago - do I still have the same opinion?

Not so pleasant when a thread about an unpleasant situation is resurrected, but none of the current zombies coming up on my TIO are like that.

I'm enjoying seeing what my user names have been over the years. I'd forgotten most of them

AliceNutter · 11/11/2022 17:47

I agree. Saw a couple of threads and loved the in jokes and friendly banter from a hundred years ago. Made me feel very nostalgic for the olden days.

CuriousCatfish · 11/11/2022 17:50

I love seeing the old usernames. It's like stepping back in time.

Thanks, OP. We're doing our best to sort the issue but it's nice to hear you're enjoying the old threads!

I don’t like the way they are being resurrected. By trolls.

MNHQ are bedding pretty quick at deleting the refills and leaving us with the pleasant memories.

The trolls, not the refills Grin

Quite an appropriate autocorrect!

I feel sorry for MNHQ, having to deal with all that last night. i think that the troll post should have been deleted then the Zombie warning reapplied on those threads, because everyone started replying to the OP from 2007 not realising.

Shows how many people bother to read the thread before replying. I understand why you wouldn't on really long threads. But a page and a half? Not difficult to read.

Sparklingbrook · 11/11/2022 18:56

For some strange reason Zombie threads that get reactivated are never ones with three posts on, always ones that are pages long. I wonder why it is?

Handsnotwands · 11/11/2022 19:29

I was idly considering moving to Yeovil after the OP wasn’t laughed out of the room with her £300k budget for a 4 bedroomed period property

then I clocked it was 12 years old 😞
