Why was my thread deleted?

I changed my username to post about a difficult situation at work (I’m gender critical, new work site is very TRA). I didn’t want to be identified via anything I’ve said in previous years, hence my name change. If I’m the concern then mods can contact me and discuss it with me.

I looked at it an hour ago and it was fine, now it’s been deleted due to sock puppets. Seems odd to me. What’s up with that?

So it was - just seen the deletion message. There are some evident sock puppetry going on at the moment on that board but didn't notice it on your thread.

If it was commenters then they should have deleted the comments, not the OP. The deletion message makes it look like you were the sock puppet (not saying you were!)

Yes, it was about my library job. I’ve been on mumsnet for years and was concerned that I might be identifiable. I’m not thrilled with the job but need an income, that’s why I did a name change.

Not sure if that’s why it was deleted. If it was others why not just delete the comments. I felt the thread had value.

The new email won’t hold as it’s sent a link to the old one that I have to click. The old host isn’t pushing through emails anymore, possibly my sibling who was hosting me on that email server thingy has quit them, taking me with her. Can you pm me?
