Anyone else's site notifications gone into bizarre mode?

Just wondering if anyone else is having any issues with their watched/participant on thread notifications?

Mine was working fine as of yesterday, then today, I have lost all my current threads (all Christmas boards related) and have a list of threads from 2006, about cycling and other random things I have neither ever watched nor commented on.

Am I just the lucky one, or is anyone else experiencing this please?

Hello
Thanks for flagging this.

We're deploying an update for notifications - please do bear with it. Things will smooth out really soon!

Thanks for posting this, I thought I was going mad! Suddenly I had 50+ notifications and when I checked them they were from random threads from 2006 about Kate Moss being pregnant and someone’s child squashing their gerbil… almost certain I never clicked in these threads let alone watched them!

noblegiraffe · 13/10/2022 13:46

Yes, I’ve got a load of notifications for ‘threads I’m watching’ that I’m pretty sure I’m not watching, I thought for a minute I was logged in as someone else!

Same! I thought Teen DS had been buggering about as I was presented with offerings such as "Barbie phones...anyone got one? Any good?" and "I know someone who doesn't have a washing machine"....Which if nothing else, is rather amusing :)

All from 2006.

Yeah wtf? Thought I'd had some kind of episode.

Spicycurry · 13/10/2022 13:51

Yes … same!

Oh I'm so glad it's not just me!

I'm sick of being linked to 'rasins and peas' from 2006. I'm not normally one to knock people for spelling mistakes and typos but that's driving me nuts 😂

MuckyPlucky · 13/10/2022 14:11

Same!! I’d put it down to my DC’s messing with my phone!
