Are these every reinstated?

Hi @chanel925 - it depends on our reason for deleting the thread. If we've taken it down to check behind the scenes, and if our checks confirm that the OP was a troll, we'll obviously keep the thread deleted.

But if everything checks out, we have (occasionally!) been known to reinstate a thread. And we'll always apologise if we've got things wrong.

If there's a particular thread you're concerned about, you can always email us at [email protected].

Coincidentally, I came across a thread from a couple of years ago that still had a message saying that MN were looking behind the scenes. That's an awfully long time to come to a decision

If the thread has been taken down with that messag, it may just be that we don't always update the message when we come to a decision. If it's just a message from us on the thread and the thread is still up, please do send us a link if you happen across it again!
