isnt working for me when I do a name search. cant work out what the stars are for?

Not working for me either.

You have to put in a category to search. If you want to put all categories in, click the button with two arrows pointing towards the right.

its not even working for specific forums(sections) either

It's working for me - you have to select categories to put into the 'chosen' box though.

Works for me. Select the sections you want, then hit the arrow to move them to the right hand box, then search.

Click the second arrow down without highlighting any of the topics, and the whole lot will transfer to the other side. You can then search all the boards.

You can. Just hit the double arrow ( >> ) without selecting any sections, and it will search everything.

I've put some instructions on the pages now. Should have thought of that earlier....
