Can they all be put in the royal topic please? There's so many, it's drowning out the other posts.

I would think they're pretty short lived. Just hide them without opening them. Takes less than a second.

Agree that it's a big thing and people want to talk about it, that's fine. However, there are people like me who don't who are interested in other topics right now. Don't want to stop threads, just put them together.

It's not drowning out other threads. Just looked at active and it's really not.

I’m hiding all of them but it’s getting tedious seeing a new one pop up every few minutes with some inane rambling.

I think it’s understandable for today and maybe tomorrow. After that move them over. Until the Coronation.

Hi there @Mabelface. Thanks for getting in touch. We do understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but it is a bit of a historic and important moment and something people will obviously want to talk about, both on Mumsnet and across the world, so we don't want to sweep the threads into a quiet corner today. And, as others have pointed out, this is probably the one day when there will be a lot of threads; there are likely to be many fewer by tomorrow.

There are still lots of threads on various subjects in Active, so hopefully you can find somewhere there to hide out for the day? Or have a wander through Classics, maybe? That's always good for some distraction on a busy news day.

If you hide them as you go you won’t see them in your active threads.
