Threads being moved from AIBU to Relationships,

Has there been a change in policy on moving threads to the appropriate board? The best bit of the relationships board was the "listen up" welcome sign underlying the definition of abuse and I don't see that anymore either.

There is currently a very sad thread in AIBU where an OP asks for support dealing with abuse and because it is on AIBU it has turned into a very unsettling thread that is not supportive. It doesn't look very in the spirit, I hope this isn't how AIBU will be allowed to develop now.

Maybe I am behind on the update but what's going on?

Hi OP

We're just reiterating here - but it's case by case!

Here's the deletion message -
'Thanks to all who have offered advice for the OP on her very difficult situation. We've had a lot of reports about quite a few post on the thread, which have had to be deleted for breaking Talk Guidelines - in fact, we've taken down so many, we're not sure that the thread is helping anyone, least of all the OP who hasn't returned to post on the thread.
For this reason, we're going to delete the thread now - but not before posting a link to our webguide on Rape and Sexual Assault, in the hope that anyone affected can find guidance on seeking practical help and support in real life.
Peace and love to all. www.mumsnet.com/i/rape-and-sexual-assault-webguide.'

Thanks Lily, and has the "listen up" message from relationships gone for ever?

Hey @FireSideCat sounds like the pin has expired - we'll see about reinstating it. Thanks for letting us know.
