No new registrations allowed?

Just logged out of Mumsnet, went to log in and it said "no new registrations allowed". Is Mumsnet not allowing any more new members?

Probably something to do with the horrendous night time trolling.

I expect it's just an overnight thing.

Hi @Strictlyfanoftenyears oh nothing like that - we sometimes close registrations for a short time if there's a persistent troll or spammer, for example. In this case, we had, as @BoreOfWhabylon mentions, a spate of trolling.
