How can I search a user name now?

To see all of someone’s posts? Advanced search seems to have gone

Just go to the search magnifying glass icon thingy and type the username in. The first hits are the threads that person started, followed by threads they've posted on.

Hi there @QuebecBagnet . The new Advanced search is being tested at the moment and is coming soon. But as @PAFMO says, yes, you should be able to use the magnifying glass tool (thanks PAFMO!). Give us a shout if you're still having any issues with that, though.

Thank you, I tried that earlier but guess maybe the person hadn’t started any threads then. Yes, would be good to see all their posts.

It's rubbish now! You can't search within posts at all, only titles, what's the point of that? Not to mention it "helpfully" correcting spelling/picking up similar words. Not useful!

I agree. The new and improved search is bloody useless. I don't understand how they ended up with this as a final version. Surely someone noticed it doesn't actually work during the many rounds of testing?

Morning, all. Just thought it might cheer you to hear that the new Advanced Search, which we've been testing over the last few weeks, is in the 'final tweaks' stages now, so it shouldn't be too long until all this works really nicely.
