"Trending" in the app

I've had to move to the App because (after using it with no issues for years) the mobile site has become unbearably slow to load.

App is nice and fast, I don't love the look and feel but can live with it. However I used to choose what to read via "trending" on the mobile site home page, but I can't find this anywhere on the App. "active" isn't the same as it just shows up whichever thread was last posted on, with no filters for most popular.

Any reason why you don't display on the App which threads are trending?

You'll be glad to know that a Trending box is on the list for us to look at as part of improving the app. It's alway helps for us to have feedback like this, and to know that there’s an appetite for Trending in the app.

Hi @DawnMumsnet is there any plans for PM's to be accessible in the app?

I never use the website anymore and don't check the email address I'm registered with very often so sometimes miss messages, it would be great if they could be seen on the app.

Thanks! I guess that people who are not used to the mobile site and have always used the app might not know "trending" exists, but I imagine that there would be a similar appetite for it in the app as there is on the mobile site.

In other words, I doubt many have switched to the app to get away from "trending".

It's something we'd like to implement in the future but we have no timescale to offer at the moment.
