Trying to post on old thread

I'm trying to post an update on a thread I started 2 years ago. However was unable to do it on App so went to the website.

However it says the thread is now closed! I didn't know threads got closed, how do I get it unclosed(?) so I can post the update?

Has it been deleted for some reason?

Only suggestion I have is that you report your opening post (on this thread) and ask @MNHQ?

If you're able to hit the 'Report' button on the thread in question, we'll get a direct link to it. Alternatively just report this thread and then give us a few details about the thread you'd like reinstated.

I didn't know Mnet actually closed threads, when did this start?

Hi again WetWednesday - right, we've received your mail and have re-opened your thread by now. Very much looking forward to the update

We don't close old threads, as a rule, unless the OP asks us to, or if it's an old thread that keeps getting bumped by spam posts - some threads seem to turn into magnets for spammers and the only way to stop them is to close the thread.

We're still not entirely sure why your one wasn't accepting new posts but we're taking a closer look into this.
