New to MN and see here that lots of people have various posting/account issues which obviously need investigating.

In my case I haven't been able to receive the confirmation email after registering and account and its been going on for a couple of weeks, but MNHQ have kept in touch and worked on this in the background.

Happy to report that my email address has been confirmed and account verified so big shout out to Liv, Lily and whoever else beetles away in the background trying to resolve glitches!

@LilyMumsnet Hello.
I would love to start an new thread here on this POS app to try and get the problems solved but that is impossible

The app completely crashes when I try to read a thread. I get to a certain point and the whole app actually gets killed.

Then I try to post a thread (here) and everytime I select a topic it opens a new new thread. Except it never fills the topic option. So I can never ever make a thread.

Sorry to hear about this. It might be that you need to update to the newest version of the app. Could you check if there's an update available to you and do that if there is? Then if you're still having trouble after that, let us know which version of the app you're using (iOS or Android) and what kind of device you're on if Android and we'll take another look. If you're having trouble posting here you can always email on [email protected].

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still can't create a thread on it.
This is what it says on the play store about the app.

There is not option for any other version.

Could you please uninstall and reinstall the app? This might iron out any of the glitches you're experiencing. Let us know.
