I'm just wondering what that really means! I often see it on AIBU.

Certain areas of the site (such as AIBU) attract more visitors than others. Sometimes, people post in high traffic areas to get quicker responses/support!

Oh OK! Is it just a way to excuse yourself when posting in the wrong area?

It's case by case so if there are any threads you'd like us to look at because they are in the wrong place, just report them to us and we'll take a look!

No OP, it's not. As the site admin explained, some forums attract more traffic / people comments than other. If you need a decent and fast response, you'd be well advised to post your issue in AIBU rather than, say, technology or similar.
