Why was the thread about the 1mo dd on the plane taken down?

You know the one with the poor mum and her 1mo dd going on a plane? And also was she suspended/ banned, because that is so unreasonable of you because this poor womans mil is dying and the last thing she needs is to get banned from mn, I was lurking on that thread, but joined just to ask this it was this one .

"a look behind the scenes" is the message mn use when they suspect the op is a billy bullshitter and they are looking at ways to identify if they are a previously banned poster for example, or if they are so outrageously ridiculous that only an idiot would think they are real.

Sometimes when suspect threads are taken down but are real, the op will email mn and give them proof or at least reassurance and the thread reappears.

I'm guessing it was reported by a few posters as being a 'tall tale' and MNHQ are checking to see if the OP was a previously banned poster or not, that kind of thing. MNHQ won't tell you anyway, as they famously 'do not comment on procedure'.

We took that thread down whilst we had a look behind the scenes. We can see that the OP wasn't posting in good faith so we won't be reinstating the thread.
