Changing email addresses on MN

Just changed my email address on this site and it went swimmingly, though I did find the process a little... odd.

Currently, when you try to change your email address, the confirmation link is sent to your old email. This is fine, though a bit tricky in situations where your old email has been compromised or if you've been locked out of it for whatever reason.

What I believe is missing though, is a confirmation message to the new email address post-change. As it is, there is no way to determine if you've keyed in the right email address, which could prove problematic as email mix-ups seem to be a fairly common occurrence especially in email providers where dots DO matter (iCloud) as opposed to ones where dots DON'T matter (gmail).
