PM indicator always shows 3 messages.

This issue started when the site was updated. I can't get rid of the flag. Why isn't there an option to mark all messages read?

After searching through 11 years of pms I've worked it out. They are where users have requested that their message be deleted. Inspecting those messages makes the flag vanish.

Hello OhYouBadKitten,

Yes there are old PMs that seem to be reflagging again. If you just open them and close again, they do vanish, as you've found. Sorry for the brief mystery!
