Hi, apologies for the delay! Here are some responses to the issues raised on this thread:
Increased size of text - we did this because there were a number of complaints about accessibility on this section due to small fonts. This is probably what is causing you to scroll more but it's necessary. We will discuss whether we can make the title more obvious now though as it is the same size as the previews of newest posts.
Newest post previews - We are showing two newest post previews instead of three to reduce the amount of extra scrolling now that the text is larger. We show two lines rather than the full post (which is the same as the previous version) - if you're seeing full posts then that's an error and it would be great to know what device/browser you are using along with a screenshot so we can fix it.
In the previous version you had to click on an arrow to go to the post but we had some complaints about that because users found that it was difficult to click the small arrow - so we've made it easer by allowing you to click on the text and we removed the arrow because it took up unnecessary space.
Honouring bookmarks - Clicking through to the last read post is the expected behaviour on these lists as the purpose is to show you the updates since you last saw the thread. If bookmarks took priority then it might be confusing for many users who have added an older bookmark but are expecting to click through to read the latest updates.
A few users have reported that they do want to click through to bookmarks so we will discuss it - we are discussing a new feature that will let you save your bookmarks to a list so you can find them again - this might be a better solution if that's what you're trying to do!
Seeing every thread you've ever been on - we aren't showing any more threads than before except that we now show deleted threads which was requested by a number of users. You can remove threads from these lists by clicking on the 3 dot menu next to the thread title. If you are seeing threads that you don't expect to see then please send us more details including a screenshot so we can look in to it.
