Page jumping about on threads - still happening!

Sorry, I had a previous thread on this but can't find it. I know it was affecting others.

It's still happening now. I'll be scrolling down a thread then all of a sudden it'll jump multiple posts either up or down and I lose where I am with it. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with where it jumps to or when it does it. It's only been since that update happened, it was never like that before.

Oh my last thread I know it was being looked into but that was months ago and nothing has changed or got any better. Is there any progress on this?

Mine suddenly disappears and refreshes itself , I’ve also noticed threads I’ve deleted suddenly return.

I think when this has happened to me, it's because an advert has loaded that's a different height / size to the previous ad (the ones between the posts - they seem to change every so often). If it's smaller or bigger than the last advert that was in the space, the posts jump to fill / make space.

Morning, TidyDancer,

Sorry to hear this is no better. Could you remind us of whether you're on mobile, desktop or app again? And what kind of device and browser you're using?

The ad issue that mrsfoof mentions sounds plausible but we'll check it out. It does seem to be an issue that predates the update, looking back, but it could be one of several things. That info above will help us hopefully nail down what's making it happen for you.

Also, if anyone here can send us the url to threads they see this happening on, that would be very helpful indeed. Thank you!
