Can't send private message

When I try to send a private message I get an error message that such says that mumsnet is "having a moment". This is on Chrome on desktop and on android. Anyone else having this problem?

Can you send us a screenshot of the error?
It may be related to the servers going down the other night - could you try clearing your cache? This may refresh things.

Happens when I click start a new message. Have since tried to sent a PM to a different user and it worked.

Ah ok - so it seems to be sorted? If it happens again please do trying clearing your cache as advised above, and seeing if that fixes it.

I am also having this issue. I have cleared the cache and cookies on chrome on my phone and still get the error message saying server is down or we are having a cup of tea thing.

Can you log out of the site and log back in again?
