Where do I find the list of different subjects / topics .Am really struggling with the new layout!

On the blue banner ( on lap/ desktop ) click on Talk > all subjects then you can look through all the different topics

On a (android) phone click on the three lines that are on the blue banner then as above

The quickest way to get to the talk topic page on the talk section is to click the 'talk' link at the top of each page. I've uploaded desktop and mobile screenshots to show where the links are.

@DeanStockwelll is referring to the menu link which is also a good suggestion, especially if you are not in the talk section of the website - thanks for that!
