How to send a pm

Just that really. Somebody posted something on a thread and I would like to ask more about it, so I thought I'd pm her, but I don't know how. I thought you could click on the user name ....

I expect there's somewhere on the site with this info, but can't find it.

Hello, OP.
Are you using the app, the mobile site, or the desktop site?

If you look at the post by the poster you'd like to contact, at the bottom right of the post you should see three dots. Click on the dots and you should see an option to PM that person.
Does that help?

Just to add: if you're on the app, unfortunately we don't have the PM feature on there as yet, so you'll need to go to the desktop site to get in touch with that poster.

Thanks - I'm on my pc so I will be able to use the three dot method.
