Reporting threads

A lot. All quite easy to spot but nothing seems to be happening about them.

I've reported a couple, but there's a bit of an epidemic at the moment.

I reported a thread yesterday instead of calling troll on the thread itself. I received an email from MN saying that the OP wasn’t a troll and they had moved the thread somewhere else. I reported on the first page when there was less than 10 replies.

MN let it run until the replies were many many pages long and many women came to share their own stories. It was an emotive subject. And now I just checked it and see that MN has deleted the thread with a message that it was a previously banned poster who comes up with a variation of the same story every time. But that’s exactly what I had reported.

What’s the point to let the thread run so many pages and so many women sharing their heartbreaking stories when it could have been zapped immediately on the first page.
