Can anyone get this to work? Filters are useless.

We have updated our Search function in the new platform so that it’s faster and returns more relevant results. It has some of the features of old Advanced Search. What you can’t do currently is search specific posts (but we will work on a feature that allows you to do that).

Can we check what device and browser you're using to access the site?
Are you receiving any error messages when using the search function? Let us know and we'll do our best to guide you through it!

Android phone. Was trying to see posts I had made in last couple of days but couldn't fix date range and topic area and it then just gave me list of totally unrelated stuff. No error messages received, just no relevant results

You can no longer set any fine grained dates, that slider is useless and an accessibility nightmare.
The results "more relevant" results I get are utterly useless and far less relevant that was achieving with the old advanced search. No idea how the search engine has been tuned or the definition of "relevance" which fails to return all my own posts from a short recent window when asked.

I've reverted to using Google to search the site and specifying parameters there but I realise this isn't ideal for everyone.

I love how they're still trying to maintain that thr new search is somehow improved, instead of worse than advanced search in every way.

I think its something in the water at HQ. If we keep insisting it all works for long enough it might just come true magically.

OP the reason you can't get it to work is simply because it doesn't fucking work.
