Posts cut off

Why have you still not resolved the issue of the end of posts being cut off?

Yeah. Is it an app thing? Seems to happen all over the place on the app, but not really noticed it when accessing from my laptop.

I haven’t been experiencing this issue with posts being cut off or the paragraph issue. I think it’s the app. Have you tried posting using your internet browser instead?

I definitely put paragraphs in my last post but they disappeared.

We're aware of the issues surrounding formatting on the app

We're so sorry that it's taking a while to resolve. We're releasing an update to the app - hopefully today - and are just awaiting approval from Apple. Please bear with us a short while longer.

Buttttttt ... Is it going to be one of the shut downs till 4am again? If so can we be told with more than 3 hours notice
MN is my go to during the night feeds that start midnight till 4. I'd really appreciate time to have a think ahead something else to do or will end up buying rubbish as usual

Paragraphs still aren't working either it seems

@AuntTwacky I've just read another thread that said delete the app and reinstall (iPhone)
It's worked! Paragraphs and quotes are fixed

Go to the App Store, search for Mumset, then click update to install the latest version.

It fixes the issues with quotes and paragraphs.

Just testing that the app update has done the job.

Still happening here - doesn't seem to be an update available. Seems to be every reply with a quote it happens on.

Just to let you all know, the latest version of the iOS app has been approved by the App Store and is available to download.

This latest version 44.13 has the fix to the quoting and paragraph bunching issues.

All you need to do is go to the App Store and hit the Update button. Please let us know how you get on - and thanks for bearing with us.

Are you using the iOS app? If so, please check the App Store for the update. If not, please let us know which device you're using and we'll try to help.

Yes app on iOS. When I type mumsnet in to App Store it just give me the option to open then takes me back to the thread.

@liveforsummer can you check which version of the app you have installed? It needs to be 4.4.13. If you're in the app, click on the Active icon, then on the three vertical lines in the top right of the screen. At the bottom of that screen, it will say Mumsnet Talk App v [xxxx].

If it's saying v44.13, that's the right one! You may need to refresh your screen by pulling it down.

Hi @AuntTwacky - can you see which version of the app you're currently using? (follow the instructions in my post above)

Finally sorted for me. Thank goodness. Hate, hate, HATE the new changes. They've made using the app such a put off.
