Not sure if this is a flaw in the new MN or it was the OP who communicated to MN wrong.
Been on a thread where the OP had name changed. Was just catching up on the thread and there’s a deleted posted by someone else with a different user name with the next post saying something like “name change fail”. The OP had failed to change name before posting.
So even though the post was deleted, the username was still there. Clearly someone else on the thread spotted the same thing, and searched for posts with that username, and then tried to find holes in the OP’s stories.
Surely that needs to be dealt with better - as when there is a NC fail, it shouldn’t be just the post that’s deleted but the username too?
