Mumsnet cutting us off

Is no one going to mention the fact that big chunks of paragraphs are being cut off of mumsnet when posting on threads? This has been happening all day. It's really starting to pis

I can see why it would! The new site has more teething problems than a dental hospital!

There's a thread in site stuff, maybe add your experience over there as MN are already on the thread.

its probably due to all the intrusive adverts. they are more irritating than ever and damaging the enjoyment of being here

Is this happening after they changed the way the site looks and think there has been lots of stuff like that happening. Wish they never changed things as liked the way it was, still not used to it.

We're just going to move your thread over to site stuff as we can't really monitor threads that aren't in there. Are you using the IOS app? If not then can you let us know what device/browser you're using to access the site?

I'm on iOS and it won't let me split my sentences onto a new line / paragraph.

It just lumps everything I write into one paragraph.

I've now written 3 sentences with a full line space between them to see if it's fixed itself or not.

So here is a screen shot of what I just wrote and how.

And it's still lumping it all into one paragraph

Just to let you know, we think this is related to some other formatting issues being experienced across the site.
We're working hard behind the scenes to have this all fixed as soon as possible.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled. Updated my IOS. Updated the app...still happening 🤷‍♀️

Not just when posts are quoting...but then too. Also just straight posts...the end is cut off. Very frustrating 🤦‍♀️

Thanks, @SpringIntoChaos the good(ish) news is that we're aware of this issue with the app and our devs are working on a fix for it. We'll update everyone when we have more information. We know it's a PITA but we're treating this as a priority.

The app is unstable. I too screenshots to show you but the add a pic function is fucked too. It's been going on since I did the osx 16 update. No idea if they're connected. IPhone 12 mini.

Unstable = unuseable

Still happening on my iPhone using the app (iOS 16) but fine on my iPad which is still on iOS 15. It's incredibly annoying.
