Strange things appearing mid sentence

It's doing my head in...what is this

• and why is it appearing in loads of threads on the app since the update? It makes some posts really difficult to read!

Urgh it is something they know about. Basically formatting from the website doesn't work in the app.

I find it makes posts absolutely unreadable.

My app is also crashing every time I try and read a thread with a photo in it. Annoying.
