? how to refresh thread

please anyone know if there is a way to refresh/update what i am reading, without having to go back to active and then back to the thread i am reading?

How are you reading? On the mobile site or website you refreh like on any website, no special way to do it I don't use the app so don't know about that

i'm reading on a chromebook.
before all new improved set-up, there used to be some underlined words at the end of each post, that you could click on, including refresh.
